Under Work Health and Safety legislation, employees must provide and maintain a working environment which is safe and free of risks to health, so far as is reasonably practicable.  Stokes Safety offers a range of solutions to help workplaces meet their Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and site compliance obligations.

An OHS Risk Assessment (OHSRA) involves conducting a thorough audit of the site and utilising a well-established format to evaluate the site's OHS, Contractor, and Emergency Management systems.  This also encompasses checking for basic Essential Safety Measures (ESM) compliance with fire equipment, the condition of plant equipment rooms, and basic chemical storage requirements.

A Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) is conducted to inspect the condition of the building and the nature of the activities being carried out.  The assessment encompasses identifying sources of fuel, sources of ignition, sources of oxygen, structural elements of the building, work practices, and environmental considerations.

Building on an OHSRA and FRA, a Property Risk Assessment (PRA) is a methodical evaluation of potential threats and hazards that could impact a property's value, safety, or functionality.  This assessment is essential for property owners, managers, and insurers to comprehend the risks involved and implement proactive measures to mitigate them.
